A new TikTok challenge has taken the internet by storm... the Wipe It Down challenge now has everyone doing it, even the owner of Mydin!
If you’ve been living under a rock, the idea behind the challenge is simple - the video begins with the person in their everyday look, and with just one swipe at the mirror, they change into a whole new look.
Datuk Wira Dr. Hj. Ameer Ali bin Mydin, the owner of Mydin, recently took it upon himself to jump into the TikTok craze bandwagon, and took the Wipe It Down challenge to another level!
...and of course, the video went super viral on Twitter!
Malaysians praised Datuk Ameer for being ‘sporting’ enough to be the face of all of Mydin’s TikTok videos.
In the video, he also promoted some of the products they had on sale in the store, as Datuk Ameer wore a Mydin uniform.
Not a bad marketing idea, also!
Mydin Malaysia’s TikTok account has gained over 10,800 followers since the video went viral.
