What a HUGE achievement!

Danny Tse Wei Chun from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) made Malaysia proud when he beat 65,000 other contestants from all over the world to win the championship at the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) World Championship held online from November 16th to 18th.

Tse received US$7,000 which is around RM28,000 cash prize together with a trophy and certificate.

According to the New Straits Times, Tse is a digital graduate from UTAR Faculty of Creative Industries. In the final round of the competition, all the finalists were given a period of six hours to come up with these marketing asset designs and were marked based on visual appeal, ability to meet the client’s requirements, brands aesthetics, as well as their professional usage of Adobe Creative Cloud.

Tse was chosen as the winner out of 51 finalists for his outstanding ability to creatively deliver the message through digital illustrations for the non-profit client, Limbitless Solutions, a US-based bionics manufacturer.

The ACA World Championship, presented by Certiport Inc., is a global competition that tests students’ design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Top students were invited to represent their respective countries at the World Championship where they created a designated design project for Certiport’s chosen non-profit client.

In some countries or regions, students are required to participate in a National Championship, and the winners of that event proceed on to participate in the World Championship.

Wahh, this is amazing. Congratulations, Tse!
