“Adorable!” Curious Kitten Rescued by Abang APM After Getting Stuck in Coffee Table Hole

The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) isn’t just there for us humans—they also come to the aid of our furry companions in need.

In Sandakan, Sabah, a curious kitten found itself in a bit of a tight spot after getting its head stuck in a coffee table, prompting APM officers to step in for a rescue.

The incident, which took place on 23 September, was shared on APM Sandakan’s Facebook page, much to the amusement of netizens. The photos show the little kitten stuck in one of the 10 holes on the under shelf of a coffee table at its owner’s home.

In a delicate operation, two APM officers carefully tilted the table sideways and used a saw to cut through parts of it, freeing the kitten from its predicament. The kitten’s owner, a concerned woman, stayed close by during the rescue, ensuring her pet remained calm throughout.

The final image from the rescue is a heartwarming one, showing the relieved owner cradling her kitten in her arms.
