As if the world didn’t already have enough issues, people are now concerned that a terrible demon, who has been imprisoned in a rock for nearly 1,000 years, has escaped.
Yup, literally a real-life Conjuring waiting to happen.

The “killing stone” which had been keeping the spirit imprisoned all this time, was broken in two, causing alarm among believers.
According to the New York Post, Japanese legend says that anyone who comes into contact with the stone will perish.
The myth said that the Nine-Tailed Fox, Tamomo-No-Mae is said to live on the volcanic rock, which is also known as Sessho-seki.
Apparently, the “demon” takes the shape of a beautiful woman who was allegedly involved in a plan to assassinate Emperor Toba, who ruled Japan from 1107 until 1123.
The rock, which is located in the hilly northern area of Tochigi, near Tokyo, is a popular tourist destination — but visitors are increasingly afraid.

Some believe the wicked spirit has been resurrected and is wreaking devastation once more.
According to local stories, the rock began to break a few years ago, most likely as a result of heavy rain.
On Twitter, one person commented, "I feel like I've seen something that I shouldn't be seeing.” While another person said: "Here I thought 2022 couldn't get any worse.”
Japanese officials are currently debating on what to do with the rock's ruins, and they might even restore it.
Ok, but shouldn’t we do something now?! How creepy!
