The Tokyo 2020 Olympics is about a year away, and while we are definitely excited for this global event, someone has just taken this excitement to the next level.
In anticipation for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, World Flags put together a website to showcase the artwork of country flags personified as anime characters clad in outfits ready for battle. That’s a total of 180 anime characters inspired by flags from across the world coming together for some serious Avengers Assemble vibes!

According to the statement on the website, the objective of this project is to educate the public on each of the different countries while showcasing traditional Japanese clothes in conjunction with the global event that will take center stage in Japan. Each country gets a dedicated page of the artwork with accompanying bite-sized information about the country.

We just love how art & creativity can bring the world together, literally!
Now, can someone make this a full anime series, please?
