Words can’t express how grateful we are to have our frontliners who have risked their lives just to protect us.
On May 9, Health Director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah once again took to social media to express his gratitude towards Health Ministry (MOH) frontliners by attaching a few pictures of our superheroes, one of which showed a health inspector carrying an elderly woman on his back.
In a Facebook caption, Dr Noor Hisham wrote;
“Treating human life delicately without racial or religious boundaries. Our health inspector Shahir Razali carrying this elderly Chinese Aunty to the centre for COVID testing. Fasting in Ramadan & serving the people in need while on full PPE suits, indeed you guys are our heroes.”
“Shahir Razak and Mastura Maznor, you internalised our MOH’s tagline “We are ready to serve”. Very proud of you both and Thank you” he added.

He attached two images along with the post, the first showing a health inspector carrying a senior citizen while the other held a walker, and the second image showed four frontliners in full PPE suit, with the words ‘We Love Malaysia, Stay Safe’ written on their gloves.

The post had garnered much attention on Facebook from netizens with more than 16,000 likes and 756 shares in just one hour.
On Twitter, a similar posting has more than 8,000 retweets with netizens pouring in the replies, praising the superheroes for the hard work and sacrifices.
We can’t thank our frontliners enough for making sure we are well protected during this difficult time. Thank you, heroes!
