A Malaysian woman recently shared a heartfelt story on the MamaClub Facebook page, thanking an elderly e-hailing driver who went above and beyond to help her sick father during an emergency.

Her day took a sharp turn when she received an urgent call at work about her father, a dialysis patient, suddenly falling ill with severe vomiting and diarrhoea. With her car in the workshop and her husband unavailable, she quickly booked an e-hailing ride to get home and take her father to the hospital.
Upon explaining the situation to the elderly driver and requesting his help to carry her father into the car, she was surprised when he readily agreed without hesitation. His concern and willingness to assist stood out immediately.
When they arrived at her home, the driver carried her ailing father into the car. Despite the car getting dirty during the journey, he reassured her, saying, “Tak apa, tak apa” (“It’s okay, it’s okay”), and refused her offer to pay for cleaning.
At the hospital, the driver rushed her father inside, ensuring he was seated safely in a wheelchair before leaving. When she tried to give him RM150 as a token of gratitude, he humbly declined and departed quickly.
Grateful for his kindness, she later contacted the e-hailing service to praise the driver, reflecting on his selflessness: “This world may feel broken at times, but people like him restore our faith in humanity. His actions have inspired me to help others in need.”
这份恩情,我会记得一辈子的,谢谢你 Abang。 昨天上班时,家里的 Kakak...
