A viral dashboard recording is turning heads online after it captured a string of vehicles casually entering a one-way traffic light junction and driving against the flow on 9 December.

The clip, shared by the #UpdateInfo page on X, doesn’t just show one or two rule-breakers. One by one, cyclists, motorcyclists, and cars can be seen ignoring the road design and squeezing into the wrong lane. At one point, even a bus tried to join them — but the dashcam car, which had stopped correctly at the lights, blocked the bus from entering, forcing it to back off.
What’s even more concerning is the long line of traffic seen waiting on the opposite side, the actual lane these vehicles should have used. This suggests that many chose to take the illegal shortcut rather than wait. The exact location of the incident has not been confirmed.
How Malaysians Reacted
Online users expressed frustration and worry. Many pointed out the safety risks, while others commented that if authorities issued summonses to all involved, enforcement agencies would be very busy — and very productive.
One netizen summed it up simply: “So dangerous.”
