Stricter SOPs will be enforced for the Movement Control Order (MCO) 3.0 throughout Peninsula Malaysia including Labuan, starting May 25th, as the number of daily COVID-19 infections continue to spike.

Our Health director-general Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah advises the public to always practice self-lockdown as the recent COVID-19 cases have spiked, and our health system is now exhausted.
In a Facebook post, DG Hisham said that ICU beds usage in the Klang Valley have reached 113% capacity, while the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) in Klang have reached 117% capacity.
Some hospitals had to repurpose other parts of the hospital, like their normal wards as temporary ICUs to treat patients, while they wait for more beds with specific medical equipment to arrive.
His caption reads: “The virus is already in our community. Obey the SOPs and stay at home if there’s no important business outside. Help MOH with self-lockdown to break the chain of COVID-19 infections.”
Our frontliners risk their health and safety every day, taking care of COVID-19 patients, so the least we could do is to stay at home!
We’re all in this together! Stay safe and stay healthy, everyone!
