Recently, dashcam footage of a Lamborghini crashing into another car in KL was circulating social media.
The incident took place at 8:40 am on Wednesday (September 8th).
According to Sinar Harian, the 42-year-old driver was on his way from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and was heading towards the Bulatan Pahang roundabout.
Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief ACP Sarifudin Mohd Salleh said that the driver was speeding and didn’t realise there was a traffic jam ahead before ramming into another car.
In the video, it can be seen that the Lamborghini was driving on the right side of the road before hitting a Proton Perdana that was slowing down due to traffic.
“As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle before crashing into several cars including flipping over a Proton Perdana which was driven by a 53-year-old woman. He also rammed into several other vehicles, causing damage,” he said.
There was also another video recorded by a witness at the scene, and in the video, the person behind the camera can be seen approaching the Lamborghini driver and saying, “Yes, you’re rich. But now, look what has happened!”
To which the driver of the Lamborghini can be heard saying, “It’s not my car. It’s a rental.”
