Recently, one Malaysian Pokémon card enthusiast caught everyone’s attention after listing his prized collection on Facebook for an eye-popping RM1.87 million. The post quickly went viral among local collectors and fans alike.
According to the seller, he has already received an offer of RM1.68 million, but he’s open to a different kind of trade — a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S plus RM1 million in cash. To make things even more interesting, he’s offering a RM50,000 commission to anyone who successfully connects him with a buyer.
And for the lucky person who seals the deal, there’s an extra surprise. The collector is throwing in a rare card worth over RM50,000 for free.
His Facebook post also included an estimated value breakdown of the collection, verified using Shiny, a popular card-tracking app that monitors real-time market prices for trading cards.
Given that his collection includes thousands of graded and ungraded cards, along with sealed boxes, the hefty price tag may not be as outrageous as it sounds.
“This isn’t just cards, it’s history, rarity, and legacy in one vault,” the seller proudly declared.

For him, and many others in the community, Pokémon cards aren’t just colourful pieces of cardboard. They’re pieces of childhood, art, and investment all at once. With the growing demand for rare collectibles worldwide, this million-ringgit vault of memories might just find its next proud trainer soon.
