If you don’t already know about FaceApp, it’s basically an app which includes various filters that can change your appearance completely, with just one tap.
And one filter that started trending on social media recently is the ‘Oppa’ filter.
Oppa literally means ‘older brother’ in Korean, but because of the phenomenon that is K-drama, it’s also now a term for romantic interest or boyfriend.
Yesterday (October 27th), Singaporean content creator Jaze Phua put the ‘Oppa’ filter to good use, merging it with the faces of several world politicians, including US President Donald Trump, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and even our very own former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
