A Scammer’s Love Story

We’re sure everyone has had their fair share of encounters with the Prince of Nigeria or Steve the old coins seller. While most of us would ignore those spam messages and just let them go to our junk mail, one girl decided to take matters into her own hands.

In a tweet that had since gone viral, Nuraziera broadcasted her interaction with a “verified” collector on Instagram with the account name “Clarke’s Numismatics”. Nuraziera pretended to be selling her old coins, what looks like those old gold 1 Ringgit coins we used to have, and Clarke was willing to offer her RM40,000 for 4 coins! Just think of all the shopping she could do with that money?

Clarke continues to explain how the transaction would go down, and how important it is to have trust as a foundation between a buyer and seller (you trust me, I trust you right?)

What Clarke clearly did not expect was what happened next. Nuraziera is not in this for the money, but instead would prefer to have him instead. To which Clarke replied “Miss, I will buy your items and you also have me too” (swoon).

Nuraziera clearly had enough of all the business talk and would rather they focus on their new romantic relationship. Clarke is obviously not too keen with the idea of having a long distance relationship (I mean, who is?) but admits that Nuraziera is the most beautiful girl he ever laid his eyes on.

Well what seems like a harmless prank at first, now can actually be a real budding romance because both of them continued chatting and Nuraziera is now scared she might be catching feelings for him.

Just look at that face.

We’re not too sure what happened next but Nuraziera certainly did not disappoint her followers.

This may be one of the few cases of a scammer getting scammed, but just be careful! Don’t be too quick to fall in love with any Prince or old coins collector on the internet.
