Efforts to contain the coronavirus are being taken largely worldwide. It’s heart-warming to see some of the celebrities who are also in this together and are doing what little they can to calm the public down and make positive impact, in the midst of all this chaos.

Here’s the list of celebrities who are giving back to those in need.

Justin Bieber

The singer pledged to donated 29,000 dollars to the Beijing Chunmiao Charity Foundation, a children’s charity in China to help with COVID-19 relief efforts. He said on Instagram that we need to stand with each other as a collective humanity!

Watching the news I couldn’t imagine how scary it would be if a new disease was effecting my wife and my family and friends. China we stand with you as a collective humanity and have made a donation to support. Whether it be this or the fires of Australia we all need to be there for eachother. Shout out to my friend @kriswu for the conversation.

BTS’ Suga & Parasite Director Bon Joon-Ho

The pair has donated more that $82,000 to date to be used for purchasing and distributing face masks as well as hand sanitizers to those in need in their native South Korea.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively

This cute pair have pledged $1million to Feeding America and Food Banks Canada! That’s something amazing. Ryan shared on his Instagram and reminded everyone to take care of their bodies and hearts.

Lady Gaga

Mama monster’s cosmetic company, Haus Labs announced that it’s going to donate 20 percent of its online profits from the previous week to local food banks in Los Angeles and New York City.

This is reminding I think a lot of us what it is to both feel like and be a human being. I think it’s so important to acknowledge that we are and must be a global kind singular community. We can’t do this without kindness. And corona virus is not prejudiced. My thought for the day is to accept there will be times we feel powerless and out of control—but we can fill that space with kindness and be a part of the solution to a world problem. We then have control. We can create healing by learning how to be kind and take care of each other and ourselves during this time.

The two donated to Seattle-based food banks! This is what the singer shared on Instagram.

The world needs us ALL. These are unprecedented times. We are supporting our community in Seattle by donating 1 million meals with Seattle @FoodLifeLine. Rally with us and support your local food bank @FeedingAmerica We can all make a difference together. Let’s all keep the Faith during this difficult time.

Donatella Versace

The famous designer’s chief creative office and her daughter, Allegra Versace have donated 200, 000 euros to San Raffaele hospital in Milan, Italy, which is the second hardest-hit country after China, where the virus originated.

Bill Gates and Melinda Gates

Their Foundation has committed about $105 million to aid the global response to COVID-19. The donation will be used for treatment efforts, detection, isolation and to protect at-risk people. It’s also used to accelerate the development of vaccines, drugs and diagnostics.

Isn't this just great? Kudos to all the stars who are using their fame and wealth for a good purpose!

Even if you can’t help financially, be kind during this difficult time. A little kindness goes a long way.

Please stay safe and take necessary precautions.
