As of today, the total number of positive Covid-19 cases in Malaysia has reached 149 people, as updated by the Ministry of Health on their official Twitter page.
According to the Health Ministry’s director-general Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, two of the patients who tested positive are in critical condition and are being treated in two separate hospitals.
In a conference recently (9 March), Dr. Noor Hisham added that the patients are currently being treated in the intensive care unit at Sultanah Aminah Hospital in Johor and Sungai Buloh Hospital.
“We do not reveal a patient’s information to the public, so we do have two patients in critical need of ventilation in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU),” he said this when he was asked to clarify a rumour about Case 26 being in a critical state.
All patients that have been identified are isolated for immediate treatment.
Patient Case-78 has fully recovered, making it a total of 26 people who have been discharged so far.
Stay safe!
