Most of the world is currently undergoing their own versions of the Movement Control Order which has almost everyone staying in their homes to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Besides the head of the household venturing out to the outside world to get essentials for their family, no one leaving their front doors. Except to take out the trash…
And they’re doing it in style!

While taking out the trash may seem like the worst chore there is, for some it’s the most time they can spend beyond the four walls of their homes during the isolation period.
Recently, a Facebook group called the Bin Isolation Outing group was created and it has got people to start being excited about taking out their bins.
Danielle Askew first created the group a couple of weeks ago after a friend had jokingly written on her wall saying that she was excited to take the bin out because it gave her a reason to leave the house.
Danielle challenged her to take her daily “outing” to the next level by dressing up! She didn’t expect more than 700,000 people to be excited by this notion!
“So basically the bin goes out more than us SO let’s dress up for the occasion!” the group reads. “Fancy dress, makeup, tutu…be creative! Post photos to cheer us up. After all laughter is the best medicine!”

What started out as a joke between two friends in Australia has now spread out to all corners of the globe as people are dressing up in their best clothes and costumes to take out their bins! Some are even wearing their wedding dresses!
We can’t decide which is our favourite look!
This is definitely a great (and safe) idea to put a smile on everyone’s faces during these hard times!
Would you dress up to take out the trash too? Let us know!
