While the world goes through these moments of trouble and darkness, there are those who are aiming to light up this time by spreading some cheer.

Over in Italy, those who are under lockdown are cheering each other up by singing at their balconies together.

Over in other parts of the world, people are putting up their Christmas lights once again in hopes of bringing a little light to these tough times.

Amidst all the fear and uncertainty that has come with the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s nice to see these lights up as it brings back memories of a more festive and joyful time.

It’s unclear as to who first started the trend of putting up Christmas lights in March but one thing’s for sure, the trend has taken off over the internet with hashtags like #LightsForLife and #CoronaKindness.

This is definitely the one thing we need to light up the darkness of these times!

While you’re doing your part by being responsible and staying home, be sure to keep yourselves safe and practice social distancing.

You know the drill, wash your hands, don’t go out, sanitise, wear a mask, and  go to the doctor if you’re not feeling well.
