Sarawak Continues To Record Highest COVID-19 Daily Deaths

The number of daily COVID-19 deaths rose to 63 on Monday (November 1st), bringing the national toll to 28,975.

According to NST, 44 fatalities were recorded on Sunday (October 31st).

Sarawak continued to record the highest number of daily deaths at 20, followed by Sabah (seven), Johor and Terengganu (six each).

Kelantan and Selangor respectively reported five deaths, Penang (four), Kuala Lumpur (three), Pahang, Perak and Perlis (two), Melaka (one).

In the past 14-days, 51.1% of victims were fully vaccinated while 42.5% were unvaccinated. 

As of Monday (November 1st), 4,626 new cases were reported taking the national toll to 2,470,927.
