In a Twitter post, the Coordinating Minister for the National Vaccination Programme Khairy Jamaluddin said “Your previous registration did go through. People who were registered previously should be getting this pushed on their MySj (MySejahtera app) overnight without having to register again.”

This is after several posts went viral on social media platforms urging people to do so, in order to prompt a confirmation screen to appear on the app.

Khairy advised the public not to register again and added that there’s no need to update the app to receive the push notification about the registration.

But what happens if you resubmitted your registration again? Would that mean you will see a later date of registration?

Don’t’ worry! Khairy says your first registration is logged in and recorded in the back end. You will get your appointment based on that first registration.

You can now download the MySejahtera app on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store and Huawei App Gallery.

Wondering what’s the process to get yourself vaccinated for Covid-19? Here’s what you have to do after you register.
