Two Women In Kota Kinabalu Risked Their Lives To Try And Catch A Burglar!

Two women from Taman Jindo in Luyang risked their lives on Monday (22 August) trying to stop a burglar from entering their home.

At around 3 in the morning, a break-in attempt was caught on the closed-circuit television (CCTV), showing a man in a mask and dark clothing approaching their gate and breaking into the yard.

According to The Borneo Post, the two women then arrived home in a white car and yelled at the man, who sprinted out of the gate in an attempt to leave the premises.

The two brave women then went after the suspect who was climbing over the gate, trying to escape. However, he managed to break free and got into a waiting pick-up truck, which is said to have been stolen.

The Kota Kinabalu OCPD Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zaidi Abdullah said the houseowner has since lodged a police report.

He said police identified the suspects involved and were investigating the case under Section 394 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt while committing a robbery.

Ahh, that must be so scary. We’re glad the two women are not hurt!
