Exchange 106 recently unveiled its very first Wishing Tree @ Exchange 106 — a heartfelt campaign in partnership with Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad and MERCY Malaysia, aimed at turning corporate goodwill into real-world impact.
This initiative goes beyond just festive décor or feel-good CSR. The Wishing Tree is anchored on two meaningful pillars: the symbolic launch and a fundraising bazaar.

At the launch held within Malaysia’s tallest tower, donors could choose real “wishes” — each representing the urgent needs of underserved communities. Fulfilling a wish isn’t just a kind gesture; it’s a lifeline, a way to bridge gaps and spark tangible change.
To support the cause even further, the Fundraising Bazaar is happening at Menara AFFIN, TRX from 23 to 26 June 2025. Featuring a handpicked selection of local brands and small businesses, part of the proceeds from sales will be channelled directly to the MERCY Malaysia Disaster Relief Fund.
AFFIN Group’s President & CEO, Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah, highlighted how this collaboration echoes the bank’s sustainability-driven mission — one that not only serves communities but uplifts them.
Meanwhile, Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Faizal Mohd Perdaus, President of MERCY Malaysia, reaffirmed how vital such partnerships are in delivering timely aid to communities in crisis. The support from corporations, vendors, and the public helps bring critical relief faster and more effectively.
For Exchange 106, this isn’t just a venue. It’s about creating shared purpose and using its space to drive forward collective good — a sentiment echoed by COO Patrick Honan.

The bazaar itself boasts a variety of names including Watsons Malaysia, Sometime by Asian Designers, NALE, Micro Garden, and more — all united by the common goal of giving back.
With more than 13,000 professionals based in the TRX district, the initiative hopes to spark deeper awareness around ESG values and community connection.
At its heart, the Wishing Tree @ Exchange 106 is a reminder that even the tallest structures are built on small, intentional acts — and when a community comes together with purpose, the ripple effect is powerful.
