Starting from 1 April, all applications for outdoor activities in Selangor's Permanent Reserve Forests (HSK) must be submitted via the newly launched ePermit system.
The Selangor Forestry Department announced on 20 March that the new online platform aims to simplify the permit application process, offering visitors a quicker and more convenient experience.
What Has Changed?
Previously, applying for a permit required filling out a form and choosing one of two methods:

Emailing the completed form to the relevant forestry district office and making payment via bank draft, postal order, or in person.

Printing the form and submitting it, along with payment, directly at the district office counter.
With the introduction of the ePermit system, the entire process will now be conducted online, removing the need for physical submissions.
Where Does the ePermit System Apply?
The new system covers all Permanent Reserve Forests in Selangor where permits are required for recreational and hiking activities. This includes popular destinations such as:

Instructions on how to use the ePermit system will be made available soon, with the official application link being released after 1 April.
