Today’s early downpour in Kuantan led to the flooding of several roads in the area. On the Kuantan Bypass, traffic was slow moving from Bukit Istana towards Semambu. Meanwhile, on Jalan Tanah Putih, the rising waters caused a crawl from Batu 7 heading towards the Kuantan River.
There was also a 1 hour 30 minute jam from Berserah towards Kampung Selamat, believed to be caused by flooding as well.

Regarding the road closures on the East Coast Expressway (ECE), do take note that the road from Lanchang heading towards Karak has been reopened. However, the road heading towards the opposite direction remains closed.
Meanwhile, flood waters at KM113 are still causing full road closures between Lanchang and Temerloh.
