Rangnick Raises Fresh Doubts About Ronaldo’s United Future

A huge question mark is hanging over Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Man United.

It comes after interim United boss Ralf Rangnick raised doubts about the Portuguese superstar – whose goals have dried up and appears low on confidence.

Insiders say Rangnick’s patience is wearing thin…and the only reason he continues to play Ronaldo is because of the lack of attacking options at Old Trafford.

Rangnick also has major reservations about the superstar leading their attack next season.

Apparently, the interim boss feels CR7 has not made enough of an impact down the middle of the attack this campaign. What’s worse, he also believes Ronaldo’s presence is potentially hindering United in other departments on the pitch.

This is the latest in a series of controversies to affect Ronaldo’s second spell with the Red Devils.

It was earlier claimed that he was trying to exert too much of an influence in the dressing room.

Then, the player himself said that he could leave if United failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

All this, combined with the fact that Ronaldo is now 37-years-old, makes it increasingly likely that his days at Old Trafford are numbered.

Ronaldo's contract expires next year and United have the option of an additional year, but judging by how things have panned out recently, the Manchester club could very well start looking for a replacement.
