Not only are people putting their own energy and time into helping our frontliners, but brands like Proton Holdings Berhad are also mass-producing face shields for the medical frontliners, too!

The target is to produce 60,000 face shields and is expected to take 20 days to complete.
According to Free Malaysia Today, Proton is using its expertise in building cars to produce the face shields for health workers working in the frontline.
The production of these face shields will be distributed for free, followed by a loan of 50 units of the Proton X70 to the Health Ministry too. Wow!
“We know how to produce cars. So, we are using that knowledge to produce PPEs to support the brave men and women on the frontline in containing the spread of COVID-19,” said its deputy CEO Radzaif Mohamed.
Proton will work closely with the Ministry of Health to distribute and deliver the face shields in batches according to the level of need in each district.
Together, we are stronger than the virus!
