National track cyclist, Nurul Izzah Izzati bags gold in the Women’s 500m Time Trial event at the Asian Track Cycling championship on Sunday (June 19th).

According to Malay Mail, the 19-year-old track cyclist won the race after clocking 35.499 seconds at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex Velodrome in New Delhi, India.
Meanwhile, Asian Games silver medallist, Muhammad Shah Firdaus Shahrom won the men’s keirin event, while fellow national cyclist, Muhammad Fadhil Mohd Zonis finished seventh out of 12 riders.
