Hulu Selangor District Police Chief, Superintendent Arsad Kamaruddin said his team received a report regarding the incident that happened at 8:05 pm near a petrol station in Serendah.

He added that the ambulance, carrying two medical assistants from Kuala Kubu Bharu and a driver, were on their way to work from Selayang Hospital, as reported by Sinar Harian.

It was reported that the ambulance was driving through the junction when the traffic light was green on the ambulance’s lane, however, the motorcycle suddenly appeared out of nowhere and entered the junction, which the ambulance failed to avoid in time which led to the horrifying crash.

The 37-year-old motorcyclist was then taken to Selayang Hospital for treatment and will be assisting police while the case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
