The Meteorological Department has warned of strong winds and thunderstorms in Sabah and Sarawak until 6 pm.
In a statement, the department stated the areas includes Kuching, Samarahan, Sarikei (Sarikei and Meradong), Sibu and Selangau, Mukah, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri and Limbang.

Similar weather conditions are also expected until 6 pm in the state of Sabah.
The areas includes Sipitang, Tenom and Beaufort, the West Coast (Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu and Tuaran) and Sandakan (Tongod).
Besides that, thunderstorms are also expected in Pahang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, and Melaka until 5 pm today.
This involves Bentong, Pahang; Selangor (Hulu Langat); Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu, Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah, Rembau and Tampin.
