Travelling by flight is exciting, but it can be pretty scary at times.

On Saturday night, a Malaysia Airlines flight which was en route from Kuala Lumpur-Beijing, had to return to KL International Airport due to technical problems that involved the landing gear.

In the interest of safety, the pilot decided to turn back - a wise decision! MAS told Bernama, "The aircraft landed safely at 9.03pm on the same day and is currently being rectified by engineers. The flight MH360, which will be serviced by another aircraft, departed Kuala Lumpur at 12.30am on Nov 10 and arrived in Beijing at 6.35am on the same day.”

MAS highlighted that safety is their priority and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused. “The plane landed safely at KLIA at 9pm after three hours in the air,” they added.

Passengers were taken care off with refreshments and a replacement flight which departed KLIA at 12.30pm and landed in Beijing at 6.35am was arranged.

Malaysia Airlines said that refreshments were provided to all passengers and all onward connections were arranged.

We are glad the issue was handled well and that all passengers are safe!
