M’sian Police Looking For Two Men In S’pore Car Peeing Under Tree In Johor

Police are looking for two men who urinated under a tree outside the Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex at Bangunan Sultan Iskandar, Johor, for alleged indecent behaviour in a public place.

A few photos have recently gone viral on Facebook of the incident that occurred at around 11:10 am on Saturday (June 11th) according to Iskandar Puteri district police commander, Rahmat Ariffin.

The men were reportedly seen driving a Singapore-registered car at the Malaysian-Singapore border and could be seen standing next to each other under a tree, while a row of buses was on the road opposite the men.

“Please at least do it facing the bushes. Also, note there are public toilets in the immigration building,” read the caption.

According to FMT, Rahmat said they wanted to record the duo’s statements under Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act which carries a fine of RM100.

Police investigation revealed that the incident took place near the entrance for light vehicles entering Malaysia from Singapore and there was mild congestion at that time.

“The distance between the location in the picture to the closest public toilet is about 1km. If vehicle owners were to park their cars at the roadside and walk to the toilet, it would worsen the congestion,” he added.
