Gamers, enthusiasts and geeks, LEVEL UP KL is back. The fifth instalment of this week-long event will be showcasing events for game developers, corporates, gamers and eSports communities.
The events featured promise to cater to both the industry and general public - LEVEL UP KL BIZ and LEVEL UP KL PLAY respectively. Both of these complement each other and will provide more exposure to the local game development industry.
“We are proud to see Malaysia’s game ecosystem grow by leaps and bounds over the years; more so, being one of the primary drivers of this explosive growth. The strong attendance and demand we received from LEVEL UP KL 2018 were a testament to the healthy game market in Malaysia and Southeast Asia that we see today,” said Hasnul Hadi Samsudin, Vice President of Digital Creative Content, MDEC.
Running from 2nd-8th November in Bangsar South, LEVEL UP KL BIZ will be bringing down regional game developers and industry leaders for a session of interaction, learning and sharing. Visitors can look forward to key announcements from local and international game developers, workshops, talks, business connections, game creation and more.
On 9th and 10th October, LEVEL UP KL PLAY will be held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Aimed at becoming Malaysia’s ultimate game conference, this video games extravaganza promises the best of what Malaysia and Southeast Asia games industries have to offer. On site, there will game-demos of soon-to-launch AAA and indie titles for both PCs and consoles, Grand Finals for multiple esports leagues, a video game concert, the Who’s Who of video games, and meet-and-greet activities among other things.
