Recently, Nicol added another remarkable achievement to her legacy by being inducted into the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Hall of Fame during a ceremony in Hong Kong. Sharing her joy on Facebook, the 41-year-old expressed how deeply honoured she felt by the recognition.

“Getting inducted into the Hall of Fame today (December 1) is such a meaningful moment. I’ve been reflecting on this honour for the past few weeks and what it means to me. I think this officially shows that I made history, which is something I’ve always struggled to believe,” Nicol wrote.

The PSA Hall of Fame, established earlier this year, celebrates the sport’s most influential figures. Nicol is only the third person to be inducted, a testament to her extraordinary impact on squash.

In her heartfelt post, Nicol dedicated the achievement to her parents, coaches, and Malaysia, acknowledging their unwavering support throughout her journey. She also shared that her focus now lies on her foundation, the Nicol David Organisation, which strives to empower children, families, and communities across Malaysia.

“I feel like now I can finally relax, knowing I gave my all during my career. I just hope that one day, these efforts will get the recognition they deserve, both in Malaysia and around the world,” she added.
