Klangites, for many of you, a new Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) begins today (October 9th), which means you’re not allowed to leave your respective housing estates.

But if you do really need to leave the area, you’ll need a permit.

Selangor police chief Datuk Noor Azam Jamaludin already confirmed that roadblocks have been set up at Bayu Perdana, Sri Andalas and Bukit Tinggi in the Klang sub-district.

“To facilitate the public, a mobile police station has been set up in the areas to provide assistance with the permits and to avoid overcrowding at the nearby police station. Those travelling for work, must produce a letter issued by their employer.

“We will look into every application whether it is under essential services or not, before granting an approval,” he said.

Of course, you’ll only be allowed to leave for work or other important matters.

The permit form can be downloaded from the South Klang District Police official Facebook Page.

Hang in there, Klangites!
