Remember when Oprah Winfrey gave her entire studio audience a free car on her talk show 16 years ago?
Well, the Sultan of Johor kinda did the same gesture for 10 nurses from the Sultanah Aminah Hospital’s (HSA) Royal Ward, as a token of appreciation for their years of service!
Photos of the nurses with their shiny, new cars were posted on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s official Facebook page yesterday (September 29th).

In the post, nursing supervisor Rokiah Samin, who has been with the HSA royal ward since 2006, expressed her gratitude to Sultan Ibrahim for the gift.
“On behalf of all of us receiving this wonderful gift, we are truly thankful to His Majesty. It really is very meaningful for us and our families and we will pray for the health and well-being of his majesty and the entire royal family,” she said.
For your information, this isn’t the first time Sultan Ibrahim has presented cars to civil servants and government staff in the state.
His Majesty actually started the practice of bestowing cars as gifts since 2016, to officers who provide excellent service.
