Here's How Students Are Coping With New SOPs

More than half a million Form 5 and Upper Form 6 students began classes today in the first phase of the reopening of schools.

This is how a secondary school in Perak is coping with the new SOP's.

1. Students who arrived at the school had to undergo body temperature screenings,

2.  Teachers and students are required to wash their hands before entering class

3. Class monitor collects food during recess for the whole class

4. Tables are arranged according to the Education Ministry’s SOP

Meanwhile, the Health Director-General says students can be more confident about returning to school without any doubts or worries as there are strict SOPs in place.

Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also noted that local Covid-19 statistics have shown that cases involving teens aged 16 to 18 have a better recovery rate.

Education Minister Dr Radzi Md Jidin has also reminded parents not to send their children to school if they're not well.

Form 5 and Upper 6 students are returned to school today following a 3-month closure due to the pandemic.
