“Balik Kampung SZN!” KTMB Adds Extra ETS Trains for Deepavali Travel Starting 30 October

In anticipation of the Deepavali celebrations, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has announced the addition of two extra Electric Train Services (ETS) on the busy KL Sentral - Padang Besar route.

These special services will run for a limited period, from 30 October to 3 November, providing more travel options for those heading home for the festive season.

For travellers heading from Padang Besar to KL Sentral, train EP9283 will depart at 11:05 am, with an expected arrival in Kuala Lumpur by 4:30 pm. Meanwhile, the return service, EP9286, will leave KL Sentral at 5:00 pm and is scheduled to reach Padang Besar by 10:20 pm.

Tickets are available starting today, 10 October, and can be purchased through multiple channels, including KTMB's mobile app, website, or ticket kiosk machines at the stations.

To ensure a smooth journey, passengers are advised to arrive at the station well ahead of time, as the boarding gates will close five minutes before departure.
