Don't Get Too Excited About Taking Pictures Of Your Ballot Papers

If you're going to be casting your votes in the upcoming Slim state seat by-election in Perak, here's what you should be aware of.

Do not take photos of your postal ballot papers and share them on social media sites.

The Election Commission says this is considered an offence and action can be taken against individuals found to have committed the act.

Nearly 80 ballot papers have been sent out to Slim constituents based outstation.

You've also been reminded to make the correct markings on the ballot papers, fill in the details correctly and to return it to the by-election managing officer before 5pm on August 29.

The by-election on August 29 will see a three-cornered contest between BN and two independent candidates.
