Indonesian netizens expressed their sympathy for the victim’s situation and urged others to be more considerate of the delivery riders by providing them with food and water, if available, “Offer your riders a drink and always thank them for their hard work.”
“If you have the means, or some extra cash, tipping them would help them out, too!” said another person.
“This is for the people who complain about their parcel being a little late. Look at this. Have a heart and make sure to help them as much as possible by providing a clear address, so it’s easier for them to find your home.”
The tweet has since garnered over 4.4 million views at the time of writing.
Our condolences go out to the victim’s family. Guys, work hard but make sure to get enough rest, eat properly and know when to stop.
