Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved yet another personal milestone, cementing his status as one of the most prolific footballers in the game.
The Portuguese superstar scored in Juventus’ 3-1 Serie A win over Sassuolo this morning to take his overall tally for club and country to 759.
This is a record matched only by Austrian-Czech striker Josef Bican on the all-time list.
It also means that Ronaldo is just one goal away from being the highest-scoring player EVER!
As if all that was not impressive enough, Cristiano’s goal against Sassuolo was also his 15th of the current league campaign.
This makes him the first player to score at least 15 goals in each of the last 15 seasons in the top five European leagues.
Ronaldo also has another record in his sights – he needs just seven more goals for Portugal to become the all-time highest international goalscorer.
With the kind of form he’s been in lately, you just know the records are going to keep tumbling.
