All 17 COVID-19 Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centres (PKRC) nationwide will be getting NJOI decoders and TV sets.
With access to 30 channels, ranging from news, sports and entertainment, NJOI will keep the 6,500 people currently being housed at PKRC informed and entertained.
“As part of NJOI’s community outreach we wish to thank NADMA for giving us the opportunity to do our part to keep the patients at PKRC entertained and informed with a variety of entertainment and news channels while they undergo quarantine and receive treatment,” said Director of NJOI, Mazhairul Jamaludin.
PKRC is managed by the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) of Malaysia.
Mazhairul presented the NJOI decoders and TV sets to YDH DCP Dato’ Hussein Omar Khan, NADMA Director of Operations and Dr Shahabuddin Ibrahim, Director of MAEPS PKRC 2.0, at the handover ceremony on Tuesday (March 2nd).
This is amazing!
We’re glad that the COVID-19 patients at all quarantine centres in the country will now have something to keep themselves entertained!
