The government has decided to implement the conditional movement control order (CMCO) in most states in Malaysia starting 9 November following a rise in COVID-19 cases.

In a press conference today (7 November), Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob said: “It will be for all states in Peninsular Malaysia except Perlis, Pahang and Kelantan.”

The one-month long CMCO will end on 6 December.
