Arsenal Are Still In It!

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is not giving up on his side’s EPL title push, despite surrendering their lead to Man City over the weekend.

The Citizens, who defeated Fulham 2-1 on Sunday, now hold a one-point lead and a one-game advantage over the Gunners.

Arteta, however, remains unfazed by the deficit:

"We can still achieve the Premier League because there are five games to go and a lot of things are going to happen still," he said.

"When I look at it, this is not over.

"It is not in our hands any more. But what is in our hands is to try to win the games we have left and the rest is down to City.”

Arsenal can briefly return to the top of the standings if they beat Chelsea at the Emirates on Tuesday.

But this will be easier said than done considering Arteta’s side are without a win in their last four league games, having also conceded a whopping eleven goals during that period.

The Spaniard is fully aware of the massive task that awaits his side:

“You have to recognise that there is still work to do. We have to be humble, recognise what our weaknesses are and work to be better.

“But we also have many strengths and there are a lot of things we have done well over the last 10 months I think.”

To recap, after their tie against Chelsea, Arsenal have matches against Newcastle, Brighton, Nottingham Forest and Wolves still to come.

City, meanwhile, will face West Ham, Leeds, Everton, Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford.
