An 11-year-old child is believed to have broken his spine and waist after slipping from the top of Bukit Bal in Seremban 2.
It’s understood that the victim climbed the 230-meter-high hill with his family, before falling into a gap as deep as 200 meters yesterday evening (October 11th).
The Fire and Rescue Department had to send a team of 20, and used special equipment to save the boy.
“Firefighters took 45 minutes to lift the victim (from the gap) upwards. The team then took 45 minutes to carry the victim 2.5 kilometers to an ambulance waiting at the foot of the hill," said Seremban 2 Fire and Rescue Station Operations Commander, Mohd Syazwan Saidy.
The victim was sent to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital (HTJ) Seremban for further treatment, and an operation was fully completed around 9:00pm.
We hope he’s okay!
