If you’re looking for the perfect date or even a thrilling adventure, here’s something you can mark in your calendar!
The Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is back for its 11th year! Happening from 19 to 22 March at Monumen Alaf Baru, Putrajaya, the same time as its Silver Jubilee celebration, the fiesta will host an astounding 25 normal and special-shaped hot air balloons from all over the world.

The fiesta will feature seven special-shaped balloons, which include: -
1. Minion from the United Kingdom
2. Little Pirate from the United States
3. BigHug from Brazil
4. My Deerling from Canada
5. Blue Rooster from France
6. Light House from the United Kingdom
7. Owlbert from the United States.
In addition to these uniquely shaped balloons, hot air balloons from a total of 13 countries including Spain, Japan, Belgium, Thailand, South Korea, Italy, Taiwan, Vietnam, and our beloved Malaysia, will also be participating in this year’s Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta.

The main highlight for this year’s event includes Mass Ascension in the morning from 7 am to 8 am daily and a Night Glow Show where visitors will get a chance to witness hot air balloons appearing like huge lanterns, dancing in the sky.
Not to forget, there will also be a spectacular fireworks display taking place on Saturday and Sunday from 8.45 pm to 9.30 pm.
Entrance is free! But for an intimate, once in a lifetime experience, visitors are encouraged to purchase Balloon Zone entrance tickets at https://www.myballoonfiesta.com/thetickets to obtain Launching Field and Night Glow Show access which allows visitors to be up-close and personal with the balloons.
Aside from these activities, Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides are also available for purchase. While for the more adventurous ones, a free-flying hot air balloon ride is also made available during the Fiesta via the MyBalloon Adventure.
