Touch ‘n Go has just unveiled its latest product series to brighten up your daily drives—the Limited-Edition RFID Tag - Cat Edition, featuring Malaysia’s favourite cheeky feline, Oyen. With this, RFID tags are no longer just for toll payment—it’s adorable design brings a touch of fun and purr-sonality to your journeys.

The Cat Edition RFID tag is Touch ‘n Go’s first-ever mid-sized limited-edition RFID tag. It fits perfectly on your vehicle’s left windscreen or left bumper without compromising functionality. Whether you are a tech-savvy commuter or just someone who adores all things cat-themed, this tag is designed to make your drives smoother and more enjoyable.
Building on the roaring success of the Transformers One Limited Edition RFID Tag, Touch ‘n Go is raising the bar with a product aimed at animal enthusiasts and creative spirits. After all, who would not want Oyen tagging along for every journey.
Purr-fectly Practical: Why You’ll Love the Oyen RFID Tag
This tag is not just cute—it’s the cat’s whiskers of toll payment solutions! Linked directly to your Touch ‘n Go eWallet, the Cat Edition RFID Tag automatically deducts toll fares as you glide through RFID lanes. Say goodbye to the hassle of rolling down your window, fumbling for cash, or worrying about delays—this feline-inspired tag ensures your journeys are as smooth and effortless as Oyen’s graceful leaps. With this purr-fectly practical innovation, stress-free drives are just a paw-step away!
Here’s how you can make the most of your new Cat Edition RFID Tag:
- Placement is Key: Use the DIY fitment guide to affix your tag securely to the left windscreen or bumper of your car. Avoid placing it on the headlamp to comply with Road Transport Department (JPJ) guidelines.
- Stay Topped Up: Ensure your TNG eWallet is always funded. Activate auto-reload in the app for added convenience, so you’ll never have to worry about running low.
- Keep Your Distance: In RFID lanes, maintain at least 3 metres from the vehicle in front to ensure the scanner picks up your tag seamlessly.
- Utilise SOS Balance: If your eWallet balance is insufficient, eligible users can benefit from SOS Balance, a feature that gives you a 24-hour grace period to reload your eWallet and settle outstanding toll payments.
