The Prosperity Burger is back once again, calling Malaysians to slow down, sit together, and savour moments of warmth, joy, and connection. As McDonald’s Malaysia brings back this much-loved yearly tradition, they are also reminding us that prosperity is not measured by what we own, but by the people who stand by us. Our families, our friends, our colleagues, our communities… the ones who cheer us on, lift us up, and fill our days with laughter and love.

Made proudly in Malaysia since 1994 with its unmistakable black pepper punch, the Prosperity Burger has grown into one of McDonald’s most iconic creations. Over the years, it has become a symbol of reunion, comfort, and coming home. This year, its return carries an even deeper meaning through the “Prosperity Kembali, Lebih Bererti” campaign.

“The Prosperity Burger has become a cherished tradition for Malaysians,” shared Melati Abdul Hai, Senior Vice President and Chief Impact Officer of McDonald’s Malaysia. “It is more than just a meal. It is a beacon of hope, a symbol of togetherness and shared memories.” She added that this year’s comeback is especially meaningful as McDonald’s continues to support Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), the heart of their community work.

In line with the theme, McDonald’s Malaysia announced that from 20 November to 31 December 2025, RM0.20 from every Prosperity McValue Meal sold will be donated to RMHC Malaysia. These contributions directly support programmes such as Ronald McDonald Houses (accommodation for families of paediatric patients), Gift of Smile (cleft lip and palate surgeries), Back-to-School (school essentials for underprivileged children), and Sensory Rooms (therapy and learning spaces for children with special needs).

“We are pleased to partner with Malaysians who are Prosperity Burger lovers in our effort to give back,” Melati added. “When you enjoy a Prosperity meal, you are also helping RMHC change the lives of children in need across Malaysia.”

The campaign was officially launched at the iconic Kuala Lumpur Tower, marking the beginning of a season filled with joy, gratitude, and generosity. Before the event, children from the Ronald McDonald Houses at Hospital Tunku Azizah and Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM had the chance to visit KL Tower. It was a magical experience they will not soon forget.

As the Prosperity Burger, Curly Fries, and McFizz return to restaurants nationwide, McDonald’s Malaysia hopes Malaysians will come together not just to enjoy a favourite meal, but to spread kindness and celebrate what prosperity truly means: sharing it with others.
