SCAS&FT started its operation in a small residence in Lorong Seputeh in 1960, before moving to its own premises in Petaling Jaya in 1966.
In 1996 they built a new 6 storey building to cater for more student intake adjacent to their old block which was later demolished with plans to construct another 7-storey building to cater for additional intake in the near future.
The association is also deeply honored and grateful to have His Royal Highness, Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj as its Royal patron.
For more than 60 years, SCAS&FT has offered life-long FREE support to children with cerebral palsy through various services and programmes. SCAS&FT manages a day center that provides facilities on basic academics, living skills and vocational training, a sheltered workshop, as well as a rehabilitation center.
It provides a comprehensive range of treatments covering physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and hydrotherapy.
