Rumour Has It: SEVENTEEN’s Joshua, DK, and Dino Could Be Coming to Malaysia Soon!

Malaysian CARATs! Are Joshua, DK, and Dino Coming to KL?!

If you’re not a CARAT, here’s a quick catch-up. SEVENTEEN hasn’t been to Malaysia in years, and 2025 might finally be the year that changes. After Mingyu’s surprise visit, rumours are now swirling that Joshua, the gentleman himself, DK, the honorary BLACKPINK member, and Dino, Jeonghan-hyung’s aegi (since he’s still not 30), could be heading to Kuala Lumpur!

There’s no official announcement yet, but fans are already buzzing with excitement thanks to some pretty solid hints.

Earlier this month, MAMEE-Double Decker’s Group CEO Pierre Pang dropped a major teaser. He shared a photo of DK, Joshua, and Dino with the caption “Catch us live in KL!” and cheekily added “Hello Oppas!” This teaser came just before Mingyu’s own visit to Malaysia for his personal schedule, fuelling even more speculation.

Adding to the excitement, the trio... DK, Joshua, and Dino, were recently announced as the new ambassadors for Mister Potato! Their latest ad was released not long ago, and CARATs are loving the cool and fun concept. It’s safe to say Mister Potato chose the perfect trio to represent their brand.

And if that wasn’t enough, last night fans were sent into overdrive when SEVENTEEN released a new INSIDE SEVENTEEN episode titled ‘JOSHUA & DK & DINO Mister Potato Ad Shoot Sketch’, showing behind-the-scenes footage from their Mister Potato campaign shoot. For non-CARATs, INSIDE SEVENTEEN is a video series sharing glimpses of the members’ daily lives and work.

What really caught everyone’s attention? Joshua saying, “We have very exciting news for you. See you in Malaysia!”

Needless to say, Malaysian CARATs could not sleep last night. The last time SEVENTEEN came to Malaysia was in 2019 for a fan signing event, and since then, fans have been waiting for their return. Their ODE TO YOU tour stop in Kuala Lumpur, originally scheduled for February 2020, was cancelled due to the pandemic, leaving Malaysian CARATs hoping for another chance.

Whenever it happens, one thing is certain. CARATs in Malaysia will be ready to welcome Joshua, DK, and Dino with open arms and unforgettable energy.
