Still Raining, Still Slaying: Rain Brings the House Down in Genting Highlands!

The SYOK team had an unforgettable night at 2025 Rain Concert: Still Raining in Malaysia! Held at the Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands, the concert kicked off right on time, and the moment Rain-oppa stepped on stage—looking as charismatic as ever—the crowd erupted in excitement. It’s hard to believe he’s been in the industry for over 20 years!

Malaysian fans were thrilled to welcome him back, especially since he last performed here at the Borneo Sonic Music Festival in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, in October 2024. This time, he took over Genting Highlands, and we were more than ready for another night of Rain’s iconic performances!

He started the show with his legendary hits Gang, It’s Raining, and Are You Happy With My Fame, setting the energy sky-high. Then, he slowed things down with soulful performances of You Know, Love Story, and Only You, captivating the audience. A special moment was hearing his duet Switch to Me with JYP live—it was surreal!

Just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, Rain surprised the crowd by bringing PSY on screen before breaking into Gangnam Style! The entire arena was on their feet, and the party continued with a high-energy Bruno Mars medley featuring 24K Magic and Leave The Door Open!

But Rain wasn’t just about delivering incredible stage performances—he made sure to get up close with his fans by moving around the arena. Experiencing him that close was unreal! He had us singing along to Bad Guy and Hip Song before giving us the ultimate fan-favourite—Rainism! Not only did he perform it, but he even taught the crowd the iconic dance so we could join in!

For the encore, he brought the house down with La Song, and everyone sang along, making it the perfect ending to an electrifying night.

It was truly a concert to remember, and we had the best time ever. We hope Rain enjoyed his time in Malaysia as much as we did, and we can’t wait to welcome him back again!
