Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is set to return to Malaysia this November, bringing with him not just his powerful voice but also the next generation of the Khan musical legacy.
On 1 November 2025, fans will gather at Idea Live Arena, 3 Damansara, for a night of timeless qawwalis, soulful ghazals, and Bollywood favourites.
This upcoming concert is extra special, as Rahat will be sharing the stage with his son, Shahzaman Ali Khan. For many, it’s more than just a performance — it’s the continuation of a family tradition that has touched hearts around the world. Carrying the torch of his legendary uncle, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat has spent over three decades blending classical qawwali with contemporary sounds, winning over audiences across cultures and generations.
Malaysian fans can expect to hear some of his most cherished songs live, from O Re Piya and Teri Meri to Mann Ki Lagan, Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji, and the globally acclaimed Afreen Afreen. His concerts are known to be emotional journeys, where music becomes a bridge between the past and present, tradition and modernity.
Earlier this year, Rahat performed in Singapore to a crowd of over 5,000, proving once again the universal power of his voice. Now, Malaysian audiences will have their turn to experience the same magic.
